My Stanley was Saved

My favorite Stanley memory happened just last week! I have had a Stanley thermos before, but it got all rusted, and I threw it away, got a new one about 6 months ago. I had it stored on a shelf with my microwave oven. I was sitting at the kitchen table, minding my own business, when, all of a sudden, the whole shelf gave way, and everything hit the floor! The floor is ceramic tile, and you can probably guess what happened. The microwave oven tumbled toward me, end over end, and I thought it was coming after me! My thermos lay there in the floor surrounded by lots of broken household items. I picked it up, examined it and it was fine--except the handle was broken. So here I am with a perfectly good Stanley thermos, and no handle to carry it! It was all very traumatic, but the most important part of my thermos was saved.
