retiring an old friend!!!
My story is simple. I grew up on a farm where the cold days of winter surely make you have a need for something warm to drink. My stanley I currently have was purchased in Janurary of 1993. Since that time, "BERTHA" ( I call her), has been dropped hundreds of times, ran over by a 2388 Case IH combine, fell out of the cab of pickups, and other numerous things to mention.
Now, in 2008, my fiance' decided i needed a new one. She didn't like BERTHAS appearence. With all the dents, dings, paint fading, no stainless steel cup, ( i think it ended up at the bottom of a hay pile), I am retiring her to more "COMFORTABLE" days.
Bertha has been thru three pour-thru spickets. All stories aside, my story seems to be just like anyothers here. You can't beat the durability and tempercontrol of a Stanley Thermos.
