Stanley sustains duck hunting adventure
I bought my first Stanley Bottle 45 years ago and I took it to work and hunting trips and on one occassion, a duck hunt. I was backing a boat into a river from a levee not knowing that my thermos had rolled out the door and onto the ground. While backing up the pick-up I drove over the thermos.
My buddy noticed the thermos laying on the ground. Upon picking up the thermos I noticed it had a dent on the lower portion and still to this day carries its scars and still works perfectly. I have told this story to many people with amazement that it still works as good today as it did when purchased new.
