I'm a trucker and an outdoorsman. My Stanley has been through all kinds of abuse and is still going strong but this story is about my step-dad's bottle. He has been gone for over 25 years now & his old bottle is long since lost, but I remember it well. He was a heavy equipment operator and his old Stanley had 2 semi-circular dents in the side from the cleats on the tracks of the Cat bulldozer that ran over it on a construction job. It kept on working for years after that & never leaked & always kept the coffee hot for hours. These are one of the best products ever made if not THE Best.
