Stanley and my Hot Coffee

The year I bought my thermos I had already gone through 2 of the off brand thermos'. I then decided to shell out the extra few bucks and get the legendary Stanley thermos. I knew it was a good thermos but I still got a surprise. I left for deer camp late Friday night shortly after preheating and filling my new Stanley with hot coffee. At camp I left the thermos in my truck for the night, the next morning when I cracked open the lid the steam rolled out from around it before I got it all the way open and totally made my day. I only drank about half of the coffee that morning and placed the thermos back into my truck. I haven’t mentioned that the temperatures dropped below freezing both nights of this particular weekend and on the second morning I thought, what the heck, maybe it’s still warm enough to drink, and wow was I surprised at the steam rolling out from under the cap again. It was still enjoyably warm enough to warm me up again. Unfortunately I don’t know if the coffee would have still been warm on the third day because I finished it off on the second morning. But by then I had refilled it for the next 2 days and looking forward showing off my two day old and still hot coffee from my Stanley thermos. Thanks Stanley, the low price has saved me money when I factor in the cost of several thermoses’ I would have gone through in the last 5 years.
