I know these are great lifelong products because my thermos is from 1975. My thermos was partially crushed and the cup itself was flattened like a pancake while working in a coal mine in that same year. From that point on, it has held some percentage less than the original quart volume but it still keeps liquids as hot as the day I bought it.
