Shiny Stanley Caught My Eye

As a teenager and early 20 year old, I worked at various agriculture jobs and at different times, I would be bailing hay, harvesting some crop or preparing the land for the next season. One fall, I was working in an almond orchard harvesting nuts and as usual, I had my Stanley thermos of coffee on the tractor. I had been working for several hours when I noticed that my Stanley thermos was gone, so looked around the area where I was and decided that it was gone. As I continued to work in the orchard, I happened to look across and saw something shining. I stopped the tractor and walked over and saw the edge of the stainless steel bottom of my thermos just barely showing above ground. It had fallen off the tractor and I had run it over and it was almost completely buried except for that shiny edge that had caught my eye. I continued to use the same Stanley thermos for the next 30 years (approx) until today, when I purchased a brand new one.
